Our next committee hearing for AB 2022 is happening Tuesday, April 24th by the Assembly Committee on Health!

Hello Friends,

Mental Health America of California (MHAC) and the California Youth Empowerment Network (CAYEN) are proud to be sponsoring AB 2022 (Chu) which will require a mental health professional on all K-12 school campuses in California.

The recommendation that lead to this bill came directly from the CAYEN youth board three years ago. This is a direct request from young people. They want mental health support at school. We must step up and honor their request.

Taking action is easy, here are several ways you can help!
