Alex is a CAYEN Board Member who started advocating with CAYEN through our TAY Action Team with DLB Ranch in Tehama County. Alex is a fierce mental health advocate who uses zir lived experiences to help advocate for the behavioral health resources ze want to see in Tehama County. Some of zir past advocacy has included bringing peer certification to zir high school campus, speaking about behavioral health innovation at our 2022 TAY Days conference, and sharing zir lived experience to inform the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative.
